A bench grinder is an important piece of equipment and, if used correctly, can perform several important tasks in the shop. These bench grinders can be single phase or three phase. Both bench grinders and pedestal grinders are available with wheel diameters from 6 to 14 inches. This popular line also includes carbide and diamond wheel tool grinders and abrasive belt grinders. Some designs of abrasive belt grinders are supplied with a three position tilt belt.
Baldor Bench Grinders
Baldor grinders come in a variety of sizes ranging from 6 “, 7”, 8 “, 10”, 12 “and 14”. These are built for heavy duty grinding and are supplied with two wheels. Baldor shock absorbers
Baldor shocks range in size from ΒΌ horsepower to a 7-1 / 2 horsepower husky. These shocks are designed for use with soft cloth wheels. Single phase buffers are designed to operate at 60Hz, while all triphasic buffers are suitable for 50Hz or 60Hz. All shocks carry a Baldor backed three year warranty.
Baldor Sanders and Grinders
Baldor Industrial Belt Grinders are used for rapid material removal when shaping and deburring objects. Baldor Sander / Grinders are available in single-phase or three-phase, and have an adjustable cast iron tool holder. Supplied with an 80 grit belt. The belt is adjustable in three positions, vertical, 45 degrees and horizontal.
An abrasive belt sander / grinder combination is also available. One side is an 8 “grinder with cast iron exhaust guards, the other features our three position abrasive belt sander. Supplied with a 36 grit wheel and an 80 grit belt.
Baldor Tool Grinders
The Baldor Carbide Tool Grinder is used for sharpening high speed steel or carbide tipped machine tools. Precision built, for precision work, driven by a reversible 1/2 HP Baldor motor in one or three phases. Supplied with swivel mount tool light and water container with spout and spout.

Baldor Polishing Lathes have features preferred by dentists, dental lab technicians, jewelers, lapidaries, and others for precision, trouble-free polishing.
