It features a high-efficiency 9-amp motor with Electrolux UltraSilencer Green that produces just 60 dBA of noise, as well as adjustable suction control on the unit and on the hose handle. The compact canister has two large wheels that help it easily move from room to room. The “normal” and “brush” lever makes it easy to change from a carpeted surface to a hard surface floor. All owners of this product commented on how light and quiet this vacuum is and how exceptional the build quality is. This vacuum cleaner is very easy to maneuver with the two large wheels on the canister and the adjustable speed of the motor is smooth and convenient. There is also a handy slot in the body of the container where you can attach the handle for easy storage. Many homeowners have found the Electrolux UltraSilencer Green canister vacuum to be a great vacuum for any type of hard floor surface, as well as perfect for cleaning valuable low-pile Persian rugs without damaging them with a beater brush.
We did find some negative reviews that mostly focus on the fact that the Electrolux UltraSilencer Green vacuum isn’t very good for wall-to-wall or plush carpeting. Without a powered brush bar, the vacuum’s suction makes it difficult to move over carpets. You can reduce the suction power to help reduce friction, but it also decreases the cleaning power. Some other negatives are that replacement bags can be expensive and there is no way to attach extra accessories to the vacuum so they are easily lost. The Electrolux UltraSilencer Green vacuum had many positive reviews and we recommend it if your home has mostly hard floor surfaces with only a few low-pile carpets and you’re looking for a quiet canister vacuum. On the other hand, if you have wall-to-wall carpeting or several large, long rugs, you’re probably better off looking for one of the upright vacuums.
